Ferrari has unveiled the first in its history, four-wheel drive supercar

The car is really un-Ferrari. This is the first production car of the mark with this body shape, front-V12 engine, 2 +2 seating and AWD.

The shapes of the Ferrari FF are the work of Pininfarina and are conducted under the direction of chief of dizaynera Ferrari - Flavio Manzoni. The model is built on a completely new chassis with a wide wheelbase, and has four full-size seats and large luggage space.

Drive to all four wheels is entrusted to the system 4RM, which allegedly has a weight of about 50% lower than that of competing systems for four-wheel drive. 4RM sends 100% of engine power to the rear wheels, but if necessary, part of it is redirected to the front axle. The distribution of masses in the ratio of 47/53 in favor of the rear axle.



V12 engine has a volume of 6.25 liters and generates 650 hp at 8000 rpm and 683 Nm at 6000 rpm. Average fuel consumption is within the 15.4 L/100 km and harmful CO2 emissions - 360 g / km.

Acceleration from standstill to 100 km / h. takes only 3.7 seconds and a top speed transfer 330 km / h. The total weight of the car is only 1790 kg and offers a boot volume of 450 liters, which, when folding the rear seats reaches - 800 liters.

Vehicle dimensions are almost identical to those Ferrari 612. The main difference is expressed in height, which in FF has 30 mm more. Ferrari FF also surpasses its predecessor with more force (about 16%), less harmful emissions (around 23%), more dynamic acceleration (0.4 sec), higher maximum speed (about 16 km / h) and a lower overall weight (about 50 kilograms).

The official premiere of "family Ferrari", suitable for long trips, will take place at the Geneva Motor Show.
