Audi A6 Hyrid Live Detroit 2011 photos and Perfect Headlights






Audi has unveiled the new A6 and the sedan comes in a hybrid version. With the Q5 Hybrid, Hybrid A6 becomes the second Audi model to be coupled thermal and electric engines. Under the hood we find a block 4-cylinder 2.0 TFSI 211 bhp, and just behind, an electric motor with an output equivalent to 45ch with 211Nm of torque. The lithium-ion battery nestled it in a secure compartment in the trunk.

The A6 Hybrid can evolve in three ways. If the sedan that can go 3km in zero emission mode, it can run exclusively with block TFSI or hybrid mode.
Hybrid Mode

When both motors work together, the electric motor also acts as a generator, thanks to the recovery of braking energy. It may also give a boost to the engine for a revival of power, for example when overtaking.

Performance-wise, the A6 Hybrid swallows the 0 to 100 in only 7.3 seconds with a top speed of 238km / h. It displays a combined cycle fuel consumption of 6.2L per 100 to 142g of CO2 per km, which places France in the neutral zone side bonus. For comparison, the sedan with the 2.0 TDI unit consumes just 4.9L per 100km.
