Tokyo Auto Salon 2011: TES Concept T-Sports, sports bag



TES means Toyota Engineering Society is an association created in 1947 within Toyota that meets employees wishing to enhance the skills and talents of its members while promoting camaraderie within the company. This particular association has launched an internal investigation in 2010 to find out what type of cars his members would like to see happen. The answer was mainly: a sports affordable.

But rather than be satisfied with the future FT-86 which also corresponds to this universal assumption, members of the TES have imagined and built the T-Sport, Baby kind of FT-86. "equipped with a 1.3 liter 4-cylinder 110 hp, weighs less than a ton, this measure T-Sports 3.81 m long and 1.65 m wide or larger dimensions than a Daihatsu Copen who seems to have served basis. This recreation of engineer is not intended to be produced, at least not officially.

Yet, nobody should complain to find what kind of car catalog of a manufacturer like Toyota ...
