Finalists named the most environmentally friendly car
Last week named five finalists to be the most environmentally friendly car (Green Car of the Year), the winner will be announced at the auto show in Los Angeles on 18 November this year. The finalists were - Chevrolet Volt, Ford Fiesta, a hybrid Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, a hybrid of Lincoln MKZ and Nissan Leaf.
One of the contenders for the title of a hatchback Fiesta, average fuel consumption which stands at 5.88 liters. 100 km.
"The five finalists reflect the general tendency of automobile market, power is no longer a novelty, but it is so large-scale use began only in the last few years" - said in a statement.
Among the jury there are many well-known environmental activists and scientists, so that to doubt their competence is not necessary.
