The complete range of standard equipment includes the fast e-gear automated transmission controlled by paddles on the steering column. A lifting system enables the front axle to be raised for safer travel onto ramps and over humps in the road, and the engine hood in tempered glass provides a stunning view of the heart of the vehicle: a 5.2 liter, 90° V-10 engine with stratified direct injection.

Pagani have officially unveiled their 2012 Huayra. The hypercar is named after Aymara god Huayra Tata, god of wind. Aerodynamics are a big part of the new car which will be displayed publically for the first time at the Geneva Auto Salon 2011. The styling of the car was perfected over the course of 5 years to find each line's beginning and end. During this study, eight scale models were created, as well as two 1:1 models, each an evolution of the previous in a never ending quest to perfect the form and refining the substance.

The turbos have been studied to offer immediate response to the slightest throttle input, giving the driver full control over the engine at any rpm and preventing unwanted delays in the delivery of power.
The engine's systems have been designed and tested to stand up to the most adverse conditions of temperature and performance. The two lateral radiators are positioned in the front to guarantee the best cooling efficiency of the intercoolers placed over the cylinder heads. The M158 engine is homologated to meet the strictest environmental regulations, EU5 and LEV2. Despite the increase of power compared to the other Mercedes-AMG V12 engines developed for Pagani, CO2 emissions as well as the fuel consumption have been reduced, to make the Pagani Huayra class leading amongst 12 cylinder sports cars with values that are respective of much smaller vehicles in the market. Keeping the weight of the rear overhang as low as possible has been a priority as we aim for a neutral behavior at the limit. A further benefit of this layout is a better behavior of the car during a rear impact. A dual clutch system was evaluated but ultimately not selected as it would have increased the weight by approximately 70kg, thus negating any minor improvement in shift-time. Xtrac already supplied the gearbox for the Zonda R and so it was the natural choice for the development of a new high performance gearbox.
Pirelli say "Power is nothing without control" and to assure complete control for the driver Pirelli has developed the bespoke P Zero tires, specifically for the 2012 Pagani Supercars Huayra The Lightest Sports Cars In Its Class. The Pirelli engineers were faced with a demanding task, combining road holding for excitement behind the steering wheel and lower rolling resistance to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. These P Zero tires are built in a dedicated MIRS™ (Modular Integrated Robotized System) facility, dedicated to the production of ultrahigh performance tires and are at the forefront of what is technically possible, suited to top speeds above 370 kph as well as to lateral forces exceeding 1,5 G.

The aerodynamic concept of the Pagani Huayra is that of a wing. The vehicle can modify the properties of this wing by varying the front ride height, which can be adjusted dynamically, and by adjusting the 4 control flaps on each of the four corners of the car. The goal is to have a neutral vehicle behavior under all conditions and control body roll via aerodynamic means. The behavior of the flaps is managed by a dedicated control unit that is fed information from the ABS and ECU, which pass information about the car's speed, yaw rate, lateral acceleration, steering angle and throttle position.
The system improves aerodynamic efficiency in a variety of driving conditions, where a low drag coefficient is not the determining factor. During braking, for example, the rear flaps and the front suspension are raised to counteract the weight transfer and balance the weight distribution between front and rear axles, allowing a better use of the rear brake force.
Another vital design tenant for the Huayra project was to ensure clean airflow over the body of the car. In addition to the downforce generated by the flaps and body, two high negative pressure areas were designed into the shape of the underbody and the diffuser at the rear, thus enhancing the aerodynamic stability and guaranteeing the 2012 Pagani Supercars Huayra The Lightest Sports Cars In Its Class downforce under all circumstances. Inside and out, this vehicle is meant to radiate energy and power. The inspiration is no less than animal and human bones, creating a dynamic supercar that’s highly energetic.
This is the Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari Enzo, the cars that never ever stops, but appears to sit in time even as it flies down the highway. In the event that our fantasy does come true, concept cars designer Peter Simon already has an idea of what he thinks the Enzo successor is going to look like.

While the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport Cars has just entered the Guinness Book of Records with an average top speed of 267 mph, a new 2000hp 2011 Dagger GT Super Sport Cars TranStar Racing supercar is about to become the fastest supercar in the world. Tom Nelson, from Nelson Racing Engines is an integral part of the “dream team” his company is the top “big horsepower” engine builder in the U.S., 2011 Dagger GT Super Sport Cars TranStar Racing has selected Tom’s multi-fuel (petrol/methanol/hydrogen/ethanol), aluminum 572 Twin Turbo as their preferred engine for its combination of streetability and extreme horsepower – 2000 hp on racing fuel.
Expected performance figures are equally astounding: 0-60 mph in 1.5 seconds, quarter mile in less than 6.7 seconds and a top speed of over 483 km/h (300mph). The outer body is made from carbon fibre, while a high-strength 4130 Chromoly Steel chassis forms the inner structure.
From a technical standpoint, the car have under the hood of a General Motors V8 engine in the “big thing” style: 9.4-liters and attention, 2000 HP! There is no mistake, the Americans announced a power worthy of Gargantua. In addition, the engine will be capable of a peak torque of no less than 2000 lb-ft of torque! Again, is not a typing mistake.

Dagger GT’s will be made available in three different ’Race’ models:
    * Dagger GT-R will be their road racing model, with a dynamic, computer-managed split rear wing.
    * Dagger GT-LS will be their land-speed model with 500 mph – rated M/T land-speed tires.
    * Dagger GT-D will be their drag racing model with Goodyear Pro Stock Slicks.
All race models will be convertible to street-legal if desired by owners. 2011 Dagger GT Super Sport Cars TranStar Racing will also continue to offer Sport and Luxury street-legal models:
    * Dagger GT-S will be their “Sport” model, a street-legal version of the GT-R model.
    * Dagger GT-X will be their luxury model with all the interior, exterior and ride-quality luxuries imaginable and specified by the owner.

Each model will be hand-made and custom-crafted to the owner’s specifications. Custom interiors and paint will be provided by award-winning After FX Customs. Each car is priced at a minimum of US$450,000.

Idea to this Concept car was to reborn the spirit of victory and passion in different way to honor legends which shouldn't be forgotten. Reviving the spirit of victory and passion to honor the classic Formula 1 cars, designer Darko Nikolic has created a supercar concept dubbed the “Wings of Nike” (WON), representing triumph and ideal beauty in Greek mythology, which brings blood quickening and sophisticated of 50s look with seriousness of limousines from 30's was a huge challenge.
Wings of Nike Sport Cars Concept based off a smorgasbord of 1930s and 1950s era cues, including wings, extended fenders, chrome bumper, suicide doors, and a roadster style rear end. The chassis is formed from lightweight aluminum, and its outer shell from carbon fiber. Capturing the sport heart in the sleek, stylish body of limousine, the futuristic sport sedan flow the lines to connect parts, spreading almost individually, along the whole body for superior aerodynamics.

The power engine of the Wings of Nike Sport Cars Concept is a 7.3-liter V-12, generating a comfortable yet potent 750 bhp, delivered by four (all wheel drive) 22-inch dubs, and egged on by a 7-speed dual plate clutch transmission. The brakes are ceramic for superior stopping power, and the black and red exterior finish to symbolize its sporty character, which further is enhanced by a chromed bumper, white circles on tires and doors opening backwards.

2010 Venom GT Hennessey Supercar Concept

Hennessey Performance Engineering today announced that it is introducing the company's first concept car - The Venom GT. Penned by British auto designer, Steve Everitt, the Venom GT would incorporate Hennessey's potent Venom 1000 Twin Turbo Viper V10 powerplant into a light weight mid-engine chassis weighing "under 2,700 lbs". Power would be run through a 6-speed transmission or optional sequential gearbox. With a power to weight ratio of just 2.7 lbs per bhp Hennessey estimates that the Venom GT could attain 0 to 100 km/h times in less than 2.5 sec. and a 0-300 km/h time of around 14 seconds.

The Hennessey Venom GT weights less than 2,400 lbs (1,071 Kg) and to stop the Venom GT, Hennessey added Brembo brakes with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston calipers in rear clamping down on 15-inch carbon ceramic rotors. Hennessey plans on building 10 units of the Venom GT annually and four have already been sold at around $600,000 a pop. That means there are only six units left from the first allocation.

In the case of the Venom GT, less weight means more performance. The Venom GT will have a production curb weight of less than 2,400 lbs (1,071 kilos) aided by its lightweight carbon fiber bodywork and carbon fiber wheels. Stopping power is delivered via Brembo brakes with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston calipers in rear clamping down on 15-inch carbon ceramic rotors.

The Venom GT’s base power plant is the supercharged 6.2 liter LS9 V8 (the same as in the Corvette ZR1) tweaked by Hennessey to 725 bhp. The company will also be offering 1000 bhp and 1200 bhp twin turbo V8 engine variants. The mid-engine V8 will transmit its power to the rear tires via a Ricardo 6-speed gearbox.

Hennessey plans to manage power output by using a programmable traction control system. CFD (computational fluid dynamic) tested bodywork and down force will also help keep the Venom stable at speed. An active aero system with adjustable rear wing will deploy under varying conditions on both the road and racetrack. An adjustable suspension system will allow ride height adjustments according to speed and driving conditions. Finally, power will be put to the ground via massive Michelin PS2 tires.

Hennessey will be building the power plants at its Texas facility. The engines will then be air freighted to the company's assembly facility near Silverstone, England where the Venom GT is built and tested. Venom GT buyer will be offered a 1-day driver orientation and instruction program by a Hennessey factory test driver, at a track in the UK or USA prior to delivery.
